Though I haven't been much of a fan of romantic fiction, this book was a good, light reading. The Prologue itself, with its aura of mystery arouses the reader's interest. The intricacy of the plot with characters that actually fit into their roles with seamless ease makes the book an interesting one. What captured my attention was the simplicity of language, which makes this book an appealing one for a wide encompassing audience. It definitely is a romantic fiction and the author, with apt usage of similes, metaphors and descriptions, does justice to the story, besides putting in all the elements of romance in a subtle and soothing manner. As you delve deeper into the book, you feel like you are an omniscient observer looking at the events in play, and that involvement of the reader, as a part of the narrative is a feat the author has achieved with remarkable precision. The book has been divided into sections and each section carries several chapters. So that makes it very organised and you don't have the hurry to finish it in one go. It gives you time to finish one section, surmise over it and then move to the next section. And in the end, you find that it all connects. The prologue and epilogue add the icing on the cake.
I would recommend this book to readers who generally enjoy romantic thrillers. And the best part about the book is it's honest simplicity. You definitely feel the author writing right from his heart: the spontaneous flow is very evident. And that's another reason I liked the book. Another interesting point to note is that the author puts in elements of science and philosophy into the book, something that makes it stand apart from commonplace romantic fiction.
