SOME MEMORIES
Well this is a very small post but I wanted to pen it down here because it's important to me. Today was a beautiful day, filled with some memories that I shall carry to my grave. My friends at coaching, well especially Dr. Sampurna had planned a surprise belated birthday party and post book launch party for me at the Lodhi Gardens Restaurant. They may not be there for me always, but then in life everyone has their own priorities and I am mature enough to understand that. But what they did today, well it was simply amazing, it left me spellbound.
I know we don't meet or talk often because we all are preparing for an exam that requires constant dedication and time, so I do understand the situation. I don't know what life has in store for me, but to be very honest my heartfelt wishes and prayers are with each and everyone of you. May you reach your goals, rise high in life and soar the skies.
Today I am here, tomorrow I may not be, but the memories will forever stay. Whenever you need me, even if there comes a point when I am no longer here in body, just close your eyes and reminisce that smiling girl with rabbit teeth and an occasional lost look and you shall find me right beside you! Remember me in my smiles, my words and my verses. Life will one day succumb to the ravages of time, but friendship is immortal. And perhaps few people understand the value of true friendship more than me, because I know the pain of having a whole lot of things to talk about at the end of the day but just an empty house to listen to you. For me, friendship is a life saving elixir and I promise, as long as I am on this earth, I am just a call away, be it whatever time of the night or day.
Thank you so much for making even a few hours of a dark, hopeless existence an enjoyable and meaningful affair. I shall cherish this day forever. With lots of love and best wishes for Sampurna, Ravi, Siksha, Vinay, Mahika and Jansher
